Logging in

• Go to the login page and enter your username and password

 

Published checkbox

• At the bottom of any edit page.
• Check to make the item public on the website. 
• Uncheck to make it viewable only when logged in the CMS.

 

Projects: adding a new project

• Enter Title of Project
• Typologies/Disciplines
  • Choose from the predefined options only
  • To modify terms, edit discipline and typology list here: https://jpda.kudos.nyc/admin/structure/taxonomy
• Tags: used for linking to call to actions on landing pages
• Date must be a year
• Location: shown on the project details page
• Address fields: used for getting the latitude and longitude and these fields are never shown on the website.
  • Enter at least city, state and country
• Coordinates (Latitude/Longitude): do not fill in manually.
• Abstract: brief description shown on hover states of this project's thumbnail.
• Body: full description that appears on the project detail page.
• Design Team/Contractors/Suppliers/Consultants/Photographers
  • Use bulleted lists to avoid spaces after each line
• Thumbnail Image: shown on a project's thumbnail e.g. Projects landing page or related projects
  • Auto-generated - do not use
• Hero image: shown as the first image on the Project detail page
• Relevant Projects: select projects to be shown at the bottom of the details page
• Relevant Posts: select feed items to be shown at the bottom of the details page

Images

• Composed of "Image Sets" which appears as a row on the details page
• Click Add Image Sets to add a new row of images
• Image Sets: has a column count and number of images

 

Feed: adding a new feed item

• Enter Title of blog item
• Date: used for ordering and on the details page. To edit the date, click Authoring Information on the right sidebar and change the Authored on field.
• Blog Series and Short Title - for series only, see Feed: adding to a new series
• Thumbnail Image: shown on Feed index page
• Hero Image: shown on the feed detail page
• Abstract: shown on thumbnails on hover
• Body: shown on feed details page
• Body Paragraphs: alternate method to enter in the body. Consists of Text + Quote paragraphs.
• Text + Quote paragraph: made of text and a quote. Quotes are optional and appear to the right of the text.
• Relevant Projects: select projects to be shown at the bottom of the details page

 

Feed: adding to a new series

• Blog Series: select the series to put the feed item to.
• Add a new Blog Series if it doesn't exist.
• Title: the full title including the blog series title. Naming convention is [Series Title]:[Feed Title]
• Short Title: anything after the colon e.g. [Feed Title]. Shown in the sidebar showing the series parts.

Featured Posts: pick posts to show in the featured posts section, otherwise the most recent 3 feed items are shown

• Edit the field then save
